Wedding Reception Place Cards are a beautiful way to dress up your wedding tables. Place cards are printed with your choice of design and your guests name Allow your guests to find their seats easily and personalise your tables with a touch of your wedding theme and style.

What size should I print my Wedding Name Place Cards?

The folded size of your wedding place card should be around the size of a business card which is approx 100mm x 55mm. This is big enough for your guests to see their name clearly, but will not make your wedding tables look cluttered. This is sometimes called a "tent" style place card.
Alternatively you can purchase flat name cards and use a place card holder on your table.

What design should I use on my Wedding Place Cards?

The theme for your wedding can be carried through to your place cards. A wedding at a vineyard may have place cards that show a vine running across the card, or a garden wedding may have a leaves design
The design of your wedding place cards should show your personal style and theme of your wedding – bring a touch of your wedding ceremony onto your tables.

What wording do I need on my Name Place Cards?

The front of the cards should have your guests name in large clear font. The point of these cards is for your guests to be able to find their seat!
On the reverse of the card you can put a personal thank you message to your guests, your names and the date of your wedding or perhaps a quote or short poem.
These cards are usually taken by your guests as a momento of your day so make them reflect something of your personality and day.

When should I order my Wedding Place Cards?

You will be unable to order your place cards for your wedding until your RSVPs come in. The name cards will be one of the last stationery items you order.

Remember to order a few blanks, there is always the chance that someone will be able to make it at the last minute. You can write the names onto the blank cards if you need to.
