Save the Date cards for wedding in green

Save the Date cards are and excellent idea if you are having a wedding where a lot of the guests need to travel, allowing them to plan in advance.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be highlighting some save the date ideas.

One of our best save the date cards, based on popular choice is the leaves save the date card.  Simple and elegant it suits our Australian lifestyle and reflects the more casual wedding many of us opt for.  This leaves design sets the scene for an outdoor garden wedding or perhaps a ceremony in a vineyard.

I love these handcrafted wire hearts. Available from Tractor Home which is unfortunately a wholesale business only, but you will be able to find their product at stores such as Husk.
I was thinking they would make a fabulous centerpiece for your wedding table or perhaps you could use them to tie your wedding wishing tree cards onto.

And finally, I adore the heart, personalized coat hangers from Lila Frances on etsy, just perfect.

A chocolate wedding theme is everybody’s dream. Yes you can use a wonderful rich chocolate brown, as your wedding decor but it is pretty hard to overlook using chocolate for your favors and desserts. A guest favor using an exquisite chocolate truffle would be just perfect, especially if you teamed  it with a personal hand written note.

I love greens, and in particular an olive green. It is a fantastic color to base a wedding theme around, especially an out door wedding in Australia. The Olive leaf design is a great choice if you then wish to coordinate your wedding decoration using olive branches. Alternatively the gum leaf design evokes a strong image of a casual Australian wedding.
