Purple reminds me of cadbury chocolates and royalty, what a wedding theme.
Majestic purple looks fantastic as a solid colour in wedding invitations, lush and rich with whispers of the extravaganza to follow.
Here are a few of Ginger Designs favourite wedding invitations coloured in purple.

Keeping with the theme of colours that the grooms can relate to is sage green, a colour suited to both bride and groom. I once had a groom say he wanted the sage green because it reminded him of the tea tree at the beach, I’m not sure about this but its universal appeal to couples is not in doubt
A green wedding theme really suits an outdoor wedding whether in a garden or at a winery. Coloured accessories for the Bride, Groom and tables are easy to find and add a freshness to the days theme.
The vine invitation design is perfect for a winery wedding or perhaps the leaves design as an alternative.

Wheat, latte, mocha, cappachino, whatever you want to call it, the natural colour makes a relaxed wedding seem suited to an outdoors wedding.
It is also a great colour combination for a couple, something the grooms out there can actually embrace.
If just wheat and white is too plain for you a contrast colour in soft pink and blue will break the impact. Have a look at ginger Designs wheat colour teamed with blue and pink.

But no contrast is needed as is shown in the late coloured wedding invitations below.

Rich and elegant, berry red is evocative. Use it as a highlight colour or saturate your bridal party in berry red, either way the result will be stunning.
Consider incorporating a wishing tree into your wedding day to take the place of a traditional guest book. Sinply get some card printed in your theme and colour, leave some space for guests to write their messages and
hang them on decorated tree branch. Some wishing tree cards in berry for you to have a look at below.

Describing colours can be hard, my idea of mushroom might be dusty pink to someone else, so in this case I am going to let the wedding stationery designs do the “talking” for me. Whatever you call this colour it is beautiful.

Lavender is a soft beautiful colour, perfect for a wedding colour scheme. The leaves wedding invitation design is a stylish way to introduce such a pretty colour into your theme without it becoming overly “fussy”.
The leaves design is available in wedding invitations and matching wedding stationery cards such as, rsvp cards, bridal registry cards, menus, order of service covers and thank you cards.

The ideal flower for your lavender theme is of course lavender. Use it dried in your bouquets, as pot pouri for your bonbonierre and as a substitute for confetti.
Following is a great example of dried lavender in bouquet and a bridal party decked out in white and lavender.

Black and White is classic and classy, it will never date and will leave you with beautiful wedding photos.
(I’m not sure why but black and white wedding photos are always more evocative to me.)
That said the colour combination is easy to work with and source, from wedding stationery, accessories, table settings and favours. You will find it easy to pull together a black and white wedding themed day if you decide to go this way.
Any wedding invitation design can be styled in black and white, the design will give hints as to how formal or casual the day is. Beneath are a few poplar options of wedding invitations coloured for ideas.
